Make your own customized hand-sewn marbled paper journal.
This is a two part workshop that will take place on Wednesday May 22nd and 29th. In Part 1 you'll make your own marbled paper and in Part 2 you'll learn to hand sew a soft-cover journal using the marbled paper you made in Part 1. You may also sign up for the individual Paper Marbling and Soft-Cover Bookbinding workshops.
This class is perfect for anyone who is interested in paper marbling, bookbinding, and the art of journaling.

This workshop is open to all skill levels. All materials will be provided.
KELLY LAUGHLIN is a bookbinder, writer, and teaching artist based in NYC, and the founder of Odette Press. Her practice is an infusion of walking, meditation, suminagashi, books, paper, lyricism, and creative experiences in nature.
